Description
xThe Basotho blankets have a deep cultural significance and history. The world renowned Basotho tribal blankets distinguish this nation from others by the way in which the blankets are worn as part of their everyday life. The designs have been developed over many years with the blessing of the Lesotho Royal Family.
What makes the Basotho blankets unique is the layout of the design, the various symbols used, the bold colour combinations and the characteristic pin-stripe. This stripe was originally a weaving fault which has become a unique part of the design and dictates how the blanket is worn. When worn in the traditional manner, the pin-stripe runs vertically symbolising growth.
Traditionally Basotho blankets are manufactured from wool which offers protection from the wind and rain and provides warmth in the high altitude of The Mountain Kingdom.
The Jubilee Ea Boipuso was made to mark the 50th anniversary celebration.

Made of 50% Merino Wool and 50% Dralon Acrylic.

Delivery is FREE in South Africa for all orders of R850 or more. Orders less than R850 will have a standard R150 delivery fee anywhere in South Africa. Dispatch Time Orders received Monday to Friday before 12pm will be processed the same day. Order received from after 12pm on Friday to Sunday will be processed for dispatch on the following Monday. Delivery Time If you live in Gauteng or a major city such as Durban, Bloemfontein, Nelspruit etc, your order should be delivered between 2-4 working days If you live in a major city in the Eastern or Western Cape, your order should be delivered between 3-5 working days If you live in an outlying area, your order can take from 4-6 working days or a week to be delivered. Please note: There are no deliveries on weekends and public holidays. Please note: Aranda Textile Mills will not be held responsible, if for reasons outside of our control, when a delivery is delayed.
Refund Policy
Refunds and Returns Prior authorization must be obtained before returning any goods. No unauthorized returns will be accepted. Only flawed products will be authorized for refunds. Shipping charges and special orders, are non-refundable. Items accepted must be returned in original packaging and undamaged. All postage and handling on return orders shall be at the expense of the customer. A 20% restocking and administration fee will be applied to authorized returns. No refunds or exchanges will be given after 5 days of receipt of goods.
